My name is Lewis Jack Thompson and I am the owner of LJT Performance Golf – indoor Golf Studio based on the outskirts of Rotherham in Swinton, South Yorkshire. I am a fully qualified PGA Professional who has dedicated my life to golf and golf coaching. I am extremely lucky to now work in such an amazing modern facility with the best equipment in the market, alongside a strong knowledge of the golf swing.

Previously, I have worked at Sitwell Golf Club & Wath Golf Club in Rotherham where I handled the Junior Academies and became the Head of Coaching. Improving golfers is my passion and helping the player achieve a better understanding of their own golf swing.

I work with a wide array of clients from complete beginners to elite players. Teaching with technology is something I believe is so important to the player as the naked eye can’t see everything!

All lessons are provided with Flightscope data & video analysis, so we can measure and improve your golf based on accurate data. My view to coaching is keeping it simple! Over complicating golf is a killer and something you must stay away from! I’ve always thrived on taking on new challenges and updating my knowledge, whether this be on short game, long game or golf course management.
